Armada expands with the opening of new centres at Manchester and Nottingham

We’re thrilled to announce an exciting new phase of expansion here at Armada, with the opening of not one but two new centres: Armada Training, Manchester and Armada Training, Nottingham! These centres are part of our ongoing expansion plans. Both welcomed the first delegates through their doors in April 2024.

Managing Director, Steven Smith says: “For a long time now, there has been a skills shortage in the UK in the design and creative sectors, and there is a particular shortage of personnel skilled in the use of CAD software. Our new centres in Manchester and Nottingham will offer our Autodesk‑accredited CAD courses and training in the key Adobe Creative applications. The opening of these centres will further enhance our training offering and make professional training more accessible for those in both the North West and the East Midlands. We spent a long time looking for the right venues in these locations, and we’re extremely pleased with our new facilities.”

Steven continues “Armada has been an established training provider for over 20 years and, with eight state-of-the-art training facilities, we are now one of the country’s leading CAD and creative design training companies. Courses at Manchester and Nottingham are hosted by the same expert trainers who host our courses at our other locations, so delegates know they’ll receive the same high-quality training we’ve always provided.”

Armada Training Nottingham

Armada Nottingham Training Centre

We’re located in Foxhall Business Centre, in the Forest Fields area of the city. We’re around 1 mile from the city centre and 2 miles from Nottingham Train station. There is plenty of parking close to the centre, or the nearest Tram stop is only ¼ mile away…and it’s only 3 stops from the city centre or 6 stops from Nottingham Train Station. For more information, please see www.armada.co.uk/centre/nott.

Armada Training Manchester

Armada Manchester Training Centre

Based in Marsland House, Sale, we might not be in the centre of Manchester, but it’s only 5 miles from the city centre, with good parking options onsite. If you prefer public transport, we are right next to Brooklands tram stop, which has only a 19-minute journey time to Manchester city centre. For more information, please see www.armada.co.uk/centre/mcr.

What can I expect?

As with our other centres, Nottingham and Manchester provide a comfortable training environment conducive to learning. A computer running the relevant fully-licensed software is made available to each delegate to use during the training. For our Adobe Creative, Autodesk Fusion and SketchUp courses, you can choose to use a Windows computer or a Mac, so you’ll be carrying out exercises on the platform you’re familiar with.

We provide refreshments – some pretty tasty biscuits, a selection of teas, coffee and different milk options. We also provide lunch for all delegates ????.

For more information on what to expect when attending a classroom course with us, check out my What should I expect attending training in-class blog.

If you’re based in the East Midlands or North-West and are looking to attend a course we offer, we look forward to welcoming you.
